Q-SYS PL-SUB10 Passive 10-inch installation subwoofer The professional high-power installation subwoofer shall be a bass reflex design incorporating a 10-inch (250 mm) low-frequency ceramic transducer with a 3-inch (75 mm) voice coil. The subwoofer shall meet the following performance criteria: frequency response of 48 Hz to 118 kHz, measured on-axis; sensitivity (1W @ 1m) of minimum 89 dB SPL in half space; maximum rated SPL at 1m (passive) of 121 dB continuous and 133 dB peak (crest factor of 12 dB); rated power capacity (passive) of continuous 450W based on a two-hour power test; nominal impedance of 8 Ohms. The subwoofer input connectors shall include both two NL4 Speakon connectors and one Euroblock connector. The subwoofer shall have a cubical enclosure constructed of 15mm Baltic external plywood. It shall have a polyurea black paint (RAL 9011) finish. The front of the loudspeaker shall be protected by a 16-Gauge (1.5 mm) powder-coated steel grille that is lined with acoustically transparent backing and a stainless metallic screen to prevent water ingress and is free of logos or other embellishment. This grille shall be treated against UV and corrosion. The loudspeaker shall be IP54, and all exterior fasteners shall be stainless steel. The input cup shall be protected by a sealing plate. The subwoofer shall have a 4-point M10 rigging system allowing horizontal and vertical deployment. The loudspeaker system enclosure shall be 11 in (280mm) high, 16.7 in (425 mm) wide, and 20 in (510 mm) deep. The loudspeaker shall have a net weight of no more than 41.8 lb (19 kg). The Passive 10-inch installation subwoofer shall be the Q-SYS PL-SUB10 loudspeaker.
