Two-way, dual-4-inch point source loudspeaker

The professional high-power installation loudspeaker system shall be a two-way full-range design incorporating two 4-inch (170 mm) low frequency neodymium transducers mounted in a 90° V shape with 1.3-inch (17.8 mm) voice coil and a 1-inch (25.4 mm) throat high-frequency neodymium compression driver mounted to a 110°x50° horn. 

The loudspeaker system shall be operating in passive mode.

The loudspeaker system shall meet the following performance criteria: frequency response of 89 Hz to 20 kHz, measured on-axis; sensitivity (1W @ 1m) of minimum 97.5 dB SPL in free field; maximum rated SPL at 1m (passive) of 111 dB continuous and 123 dB peak (crest factor of 12 dB); rated power capacity (passive) of continuous 120W based on a two-hour power test; nominal impedance of 8 Ohms.  

The loudspeaker system input connector shall be one euroblock connector. 

The loudspeaker enclosure shall be asymmetrical offering a 15° angle between sides and constructed of 12 mm Baltic birch exterior plywood and finished in black polyurea paint (RAL 9011). The transducers and horn frame shall be part of an ABS front baffle. The front of the loudspeaker shall be protected by an 18-Gauge (1.2 mm) powder-coated steel grille that is lined with acoustically transparent backing and a stainless metallic screen to prevent water ingress and is free of logos or other embellishment. This grille shall be treated against UV and corrosion. The loudspeaker shall be IP54, and all exterior fasteners shall be stainless steel. The input cup shall be protected by a sealing plate. 

The enclosure shall have two M8 inserts located on center of gravity on the top and bottom for an optional yoke bracket as well as two M8 inserts (pitch 2.75 in / 70mm) on top and bottom and 2 M8 inserts on the rear (pitch 2.36 in / 60mm) for an optional flush mount bracket.

The loudspeaker system enclosure shall be 5.4 in (136 mm) high, 13.6 in (346 mm) wide, and 7.2 in (182 mm) deep. The loudspeaker shall have a net weight of no more than 8.7 lb (3.9 kg). 

The two-way full-range loudspeaker system shall be the Q-SYS PL-DC24 loudspeaker.
