The paging station is a native Q-LAN audio input and control device. The system shall operate on a native gigabit Ethernet network, employing DiffServ quality of service, IEEE 1588 audio clock synchronization, UDP/IP data transport, and floating-point format audio data representation. The overall system latency from analog input to synchronized analog output(s) shall be 2.5 ms or less. For routed networks, the end-to-end system latency shall be 3.2 ms or less. The paging station shall be powered using Power over Ethernet (PoE - IEEE 802.1af Type 1, Class 3). The paging station shall require a Q-SYS TSC-70-G3 7” touchscreen controller as the primary means of control and zone selection. The 7” touchscreen controller shall offer the creation of customized user control interfaces (UCI) for both paging and general system control. The handheld paging station shall include a handheld microphone with an integrated push-to-talk button and a magnetic attachment mechanism, and it shall mount into a standard US 2-gan backbox. The gooseneck paging station shall include a fixed gooseneck microphone with a dedicated mechanical push-to-talk button on the station, and it shall mount into an included steel desktop base. The paging station shall have the following rear panel connectors: (1) RJ45 LAN connector operating at 1Gbps speed for connection to the Q-LAN network and PoE, and a USB-C connector for connecting the TSC Paging Station audio module to the TSC USB-C port. The system input and control device shall be the Q-SYS PS-TSCG3-H (handheld) Paging Station and Q-SYS PS-TSCG3-G (gooseneck) Paging Station.
